[edit] 2008 Olympics "boycott"
If you can read the Chinese version of the article on 2008 Olympics, you will not find any mentions of the so-called boycotts. I would call that a different perspective -- one that differs from the west. I just feel that weterners tend to focus on the negative aspects of China a bit too frequently sometimes. By the way, I did make quite a few entries in the discussion page of the Olympics. have you read them? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 130.70.148.189 (talk • contribs).
- I would call the absence of comments on the Chinese wiki about the ongoing boycotts of the 2008 Olympics willfull censorship. Yes, I did read your comments and I also see that they have been appropriatly responded to. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.115.163.74 (talk • contribs).

- That's just a wholly inaccurate assessment. Those that have the most interest in this so-calld "willful censorship" are from mainland China - but WP is blocked from mainland China. Chinese WP is mostly edited by people in Taiwan, HK, and Overseas Chinese (about 30 million in population). Are you trying to tell me people in these places, especially Taiwan, are engaging in "willful censorship" of potential boycotts of the 2008 Olympics?
