I am removing this warning because it's questionable whether your edit there really could have been considered vandalism. The radical change in the temperature for January was a bit fishy, but I'm not that familiar with Los Angeles weather to know whether your temperature is indeed correct, or if you just made a mistake. see List of cities in California. I used 1910 as my arbitrary cutoff for the second list, but there were also a dozen or more new cities from 1910 to 1925. Then there is a huge gap where only one city was created between 1925 and 1954.

With roughly 90 cities in LA County, Whittier doesn't even make it into the top 10% of the oldest cities in LA County. I think that you've overstated the case for the uniqueness of the age of Whittier. ^BlankVerse 13:38, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
