Hi--thanks for the attention to various things Language. Not to be too crabby, but why exactly add the hyphens back in? The phrase "language poetry" has long since lost its hyphens in all the poetry/lit.crit. circles I know of. L=A=N=G=U=A=G=E is the name of a magazine but the term has gone on to have an independent life. ND 03:33, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
Yes--User:ND is correct -- Those Equal signs REFER to the magazine...but have gone on to have an independent life...this has been discussed for quite awhile during this past summer (2006). The wikipedia community settled on the term without those "hypens" and this article needs to be reverted back to the version before this anonymous user (71.233.90.233) inserted those changes.Christian Roess 07:29, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
- Hm, I think that the edits deserve not to be reverted but just to have this particular wholesale change (the addition of hyphens throughout) to be undone. Everything else the person added seemed to be useful/pertinent. ND 07:55, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, the edits are "interesting", but I'm not convinced as to their "pertinence"; however I can see my way against making wholesale changes. You've made some interesting, perhaps pertinent inclusions to the article and discussion as well.
BUT>>>>I believe that the 'hypens' need to be removed. Check out the discussion page over at the Language poets article. I added the "controversial" tag to it.Christian Roess 13:05, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
