[edit] 3RR
You are close to passing a WP:3RR on 99 Names of God. -- Jeff3000 20:25, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
- You have been reported at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/3RR
- Note that based on Wikipedia policy (WP:V, WP:RS, WP:CITE), when someone places a {{fact}}, you should find a reference for it, rather than removing it. Secondly syncretic is an islamic polemical view of the Baha'i Faith which has been dismissed by many verifiable and relibale academic sources; see the Britanicca article, thirdly, you are showing your POV by removing the subsectioning of the Baha'i term; fourthy, Wikipedia uses the most common english name of a subject, which is the Baha'i Faith, and not Baha'ism. Please read those appropriate Wikipedia articles as well. Regards, -- Jeff3000 00:44, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] 99 Names of God
Please stop. If you have any concerns, please bring them up on the talk page, or you will be blocked again. -- Jeff3000 02:31, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Verifiability
You should really read verifiability and reliable sources. They are very important policies in Wikipedia. Everything should be cited. The numbers in Major religious groups are all taken from adherents.com so that the numbers and methodology are consistent. Please refrain from changing them. Regards, -- Jeff3000 14:24, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] User notice: temporary block
You have been blocked for 24 hours for modification of cited numbers (e.g. [2], vandalism (e.g. [3]) copyright violation (e.g. [4]), and general edit-warring. When you return, please edit in a way that conforms with Wikipedia policy. Jayjg (talk) 16:58, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] October 21 3RR warning
Another 3RR warning on Major religious groups. Aymaddiha's think of themselves as Muslim, and adherents.com which is used as the source on that page to stay consistent places them under that tag. Secondly, you should read Wikipedia:Manual of Style (Islam-related articles). Even the Islamic editors believe that to remain under neutral point of view, that there are certain guidelines to use when referring to the Prophet Muhammad. If you feel something should be changed, instead of edit warring, you should bring up the discussion on the talk pages. Regards, -- Jeff3000 17:10, 21 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Major World Religions
Please stop reverting Major World Religions; for one Aymaddiyas consider themselves Muslims, and based on a self-definition, and that the source includes them as Muslim, they should be included. That you don't consider them Muslims is beside the point. As for the Druze, please read WP:V. For consistency the source is used, and to follow Wikipedia policy, we work with that source. A note has already been placed beside the Druze and the Ayyamadia (check the triple ***). -- Jeff3000 04:33, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
- First learn the definition of a Muslim. Anybody who accepts the 5 pillars of Islam wholeheartedly is a Muslim, regardless of official designations. Ahmadiyya movement does not accept the seal of prophethood. All 50+ Muslim countries have designated their movement as non-Muslim. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 81.154.252.34 (talk • contribs). 18:32, 28 October 2006
- That is your definition. From the Ahmadiyya page, "Furthermore, some Muslim groups will not use the term "Muslim" when referring to Ahmadis, even though both sects refer to themselves as such." The note on the page states this, as is the only way to be NPOV. -- Jeff3000 19:58, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
- Also, from the official websites of the two different Aymaddiya movements "official website of the Aymaddiya Muslim community" [5] and "The main object of this Movement is to present the true, original message of Islam to the whole world -- Islam as it is found in the Holy Quran" [6]. They clearly believe that they are Muslims. -- Jeff3000 20:04, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
- My definition? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 81.154.252.34 (talk • contribs). 20:28, 29 October 2006
- Well you keep removing them as Muslim, when they clearly believe they are Muslim. Who decides who is Muslim? There is no authoritative person or organization that can do so, and thus it comes to self-definition, which is also what is recognized by the United Nations. Plus in this case there is verifiability to deal with. -- Jeff3000 01:27, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
