[edit] Potential Linkspam in Automatic Identification System
Your edits, both in disrupting an existing link and adding commercial links could be considered linkspam and vandelism. Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in Automatic Identification System. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. - Davandron | Talk 18:51, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Please stop vandalizing in Automatic Identification System
Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, as you did to Automatic Identification System, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. - Davandron | Talk 13:49, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
If you feel the link is appropriate, you need to discuss it on the talk page
[edit] Three Reverts
We are currently engaged in a editing war. This is apparent by the fact you have reverted changes more than three times, against policy WP:3RR, and have not discussed the changes you are making. I am asking administrators for help on the matter. - Davandron | Talk 14:20, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] 3 RR and Link spam
It has been noted on your talk page that there are Wikipedia policies and guidelines that you need to be aware of and follow. In particular, the "3RR" rule which prohibits you from reverting an edit more than three times. Your 3RR violation was reported on the 3RR noticeboard. The root of this seems to be your addition of an external link to the Automatic Identification System article. Please review the Wikipedia guidelines on external link spamming. As per the invitation above, if after reading the guideline, you feel that the external link you have been adding is appropriate, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than getting involved in an edit war and violating 3RR.
It is noted that you have not made any further edits since 14 February. If you return to edit again, I hope you will take note of the information provided above. — ERcheck (talk) 15:33, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
