[edit] Thanks
Re: Grime. It's good to see an editor with low tolerance for linkspam. I've been meaning to go through those forever to clear them out. Cheers, BanyanTree 14:25, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
- You're welcome. Actually I wasn't even sure about the remaining links except for the pitchfork article. a.bit 16:22, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Scissor Sister - External links
I'd like to point out that the three links you persistently remove from the Scissor Sisters article are not in fact linkspam, and would like to know your reasoning for removing them - especially as a number of the links you deem acceptable in that article ARE linkspam. StudioSpooky is the OFFICIAL site of the artist who does the album and single covers for this band. The Partybus is the most official fanpage, having been referenced by the band in their credits for the DVD, and being officially linked to by the management of the Scissor Sisters Official Site. The AMAS is the site of a major fangroup. Conversely, WASS.tk , which you deem an acceptable link, is merely a fanpage which incidentally takes much of its content from the Wikipedia Scissor Sisters page. 217.206.231.128 11:27, 17 March 2006 (UTC)
- You can see my reasoning for removing those links at Talk:Scissor Sisters#External links. I would like to add that the fact that I did not remove the other links (e.g. the interviews) does not mean that I think they are really informative (let alone that I would have added the links myself if they hadn't been there already), but only that I think they are slightly more acceptable than the ones I removed. You may disagree, but I would prefer to continue the discussion at the article's talk page. --a.bit 16:30, 17 March 2006 (UTC)
