Talk:Aayla Secura
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I was thinking Aayla's entry should be moved to the larger List of minor Star Wars Jedi characters Anyone else think so? SkeezerPumba 01:17, 24 May 2005 (UTC)
- Considering I split it from there, no. I'm planning on expanding the article this week. --Kross 03:14, May 24, 2005 (UTC)
- For convience, I think you should still put her name back, at least, in the main list with a link to the dedicated page then. I was looking for info on the Twilek Jedi chick, but didn't know her name at the time, which led me to the larger page. When she wasn't listed, I was like WTF? I had to find out what her name was on Google, and then looked here again to find she had her own page. SkeezerPumba 01:10, 26 May 2005 (UTC)

- I put her back on the list with a redirect here. SkeezerPumba 01:19, 26 May 2005 (UTC)
Her death: I was under the impression that she did not die in revenge of the sith. I have heard that in the EU she survives. Well obviously the repeated blaster shots point blank into her back disagree. Besides, the movies overrule EU.
what is so great about her surviving anyway? what makes her so special?
She seems to have a moderatly large fanbase.
- She seems to be the new "Princess Leia in a Gold Bikini"
- She does not survive in the movie. She does not survive in the EU. She is D-E-A-D. Deceased. Gone. No longer living. I have no idea why people can't understand this. I suspect it's only because she's insanely hot, but further research must be done before this hypothesis can be verified.
- And she's not even the hottest one. But still, Aayla and Mace are the only Jedi I felt sorry for when watching ROTS. - Sikon 15:55, 22 Jun 2005 (UTC)
[edit] dead
This article needs to be changed the rumor is false she is shot in the back more then thirty times to prove she was dead they continued to shoot. The actor may return in the series but the chatacter is dead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!--Kit fisto 28 June 2005 04:26 (UTC)kit fisto
It's now confirmed with Star Wars.com's most recent Databank update that Aayla Secura was killed. This entire issue is over.
And for the record, Secura's actress, Amy Allen, isn't actually an actress. She's a production assistant at ILM, so Secura would have to have been played by somebody else.
Besides, the idea that the live action TV series would focus around Secura is rather absurd, since she didn't even have a speaking role... --Spanky The Dolphin 6 July 2005 08:27 (UTC)
Hey has anyone noticed that in the game Battlefront 2 she has two lightsabers? But in the movies she only has one. What's with that? nightlad 7 October 2006 12:26
[edit] "Unique"?
"The character is also unique in that she is one of the few Expanded Universe characters to appear in the Star Wars films."
Well, which is it? "unique" or "one of the few"? Can't very well be both. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by ThaddeusFrye (talk • contribs) .
- Well, you can' say "she's one of the few who is unique," can you? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 163.11.83.14 (talk • contribs) .
The original poster is correct; "unique" means "there's only one", which is belied by the very next phrase in the sentence. May I propose: "the character is UNUSUAL in that she is one of the few..."
