Abe Motozane (安倍元真?); 1513-1587) was a samurai general in Japan during the Sengoku period. As a member of the prestigious clan of Suruga and an officer of the Imagawa, he was placed in charge of the defense of the Castle of Suruga when Shingen Takeda invaded Suruga. Abe held up well, but was ultimately defeated. Even after the fall of the Imagawa, Abe continued his battle against the Takeda underneath his new lord, Ieyasu Tokugawa.
