- That site is a fake news generator. Try replacing "ace.frehley" with any other name and you'll get the same thing. See this, this, and this for examples. Sorry if I've made any format errors; I don't use the talk pages much. 68.178.24.34 10:41, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

- Wasn't there a reference to Fark.com included with the edit? I just reloaded to check and it's gone.
- I didn't catch it. I suspect the vandalism stems from a FARK.com thread referenced to Britney Spears latest rehabilitation check out. I checked CNN, and Los Angeles news sites 5 minutes ago and no reports of Ace being deceased. To0n 20:40, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

- "Scam" implies intelligence. This is idiocy, plain and simple. Trust me when I say I would know if something like this were true. The semi-protection will help this stuff a lot. Take it for what you will, but the news stems from Hal Sparks' MySpace blog. I can't link because it's a blacklisted site, but I'm sure if you google for his MySpace you'll be able to find it.

- Actually, according to several direct sources including the box set liner notes and Sex Money Kiss, Gene and Paul were still thinking of the band that would soon be KISS as a new lineup of Wicked Lester when they auditioned Peter and Ace. It wasn't until Ace joined that the name KISS was decided upon. Gene's statements in particular have been contradictory and inconsistent about this, though. wikipediatrix 02:26, 15 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] 1978 album is a KISS album
All four solo albums are listed as KISS albums on their website. They are also listed as KISS albums on allmusic.com. And according to the rather comprehensive book The Kiss Album Focus, the albums all counted against KISS's contract with Casablanca Records. The trivia section has been marked as Uncited since November. Since no one else has made an effort to source the info, I am removing the section. Hi Cholmes75,
Regarding this, I must mention that not all info was without references. I added the info on the VH1's Most Metal Moments countdown, even citing in what place his incident came in. I thought I was specific enough as to where that came from, and is easily verifiable. Do you need a link the to countdown on VH1's site or is just mentioning where it came from enough for you? The same goes for the Dimebag Darrell tattoo, info which is also on Dimebag's article and also shown on VH1.

- After pondering the issue more, I think the trivia section should stay out, even when stuff is supported by cites. I refer to the guideline at WP:TRIV for my reasoning. Simply put, I don't think Dimebag Darrell having a tattoo of Ace is something that the article needs. [edit] German-American + Cherokee Heritage.
Why was this delted? He has stated in various interviews that he has a German grandfather, he wrote a song called Cherokee Boogie (instrumental) as a tribute to his Cherokee heritage. I'm not sure which side of his family is German and which is Cherokee but there is no dispute in the matter it is fact.
