Acoustic Americana was a record label that was formed in 2005 to promote the unamplified genres that make up Americana. In April of 2005, the label issued its first CD, "Forever True" by Dead Men's Hollow. The group and recording were nominated for six 2005 Wammie Awards by the Washington Area Music Association. The group won three: Best Bluegrass Duo/Group, Best Bluegrass Recording, and Best Debut Recording.
