Adrian J. Martyn

Adrian J. Martyn (born 1975), local historical writer.
A native of Galway, author of The Tribes of Galway (2001), and several prior and subsequent articles dealing with aspects of local history.
He remains the only known Irish historian in living memory to have challenged someone to a duel (see first external link).
