Adrian Lungu

Adrian Lungu (born 05 September 1960 in Năvodari, Romania) is a Romanian rugby union player. Adrian is the most capped Romanian player, playing 77 times as a centre or wing for Romania. He scored three international tries.
He played for Farul Constanţa and Dinamo Bucureşti.
He made his international debut against Italy in 1980. In 1993 Adrian played for Castres when they won the French championship. He went on to coach Castres.
Lungu played at the 1987 and 1991 World Cups before retiring at thirty four at the Rugby World Cup in South Africa. His final game was Romania v Australia on 3 June 1995.
His son Remus Lungu is also a Romanian rugby union international. His brother Adrian Mihai Lungu is an inventor--his most famous invention is a variety of scented tissues that releases odor very slowly.
