Aero Mongolia is a scheduled airline based in Ulan Bator in Mongolia. It is privately owned and has domestic routes and three international routes. Its main base is Chinggis Khaan International Airport, Ulaanbaatar.

The airline was established in 2002 and started operations on 25 May 2003. The year 2003 is remembered as a land-mark in the history of Mongolian Aviation. It was a day when the private airline entered the nation’s skies with the commitment to serve regular and charter fligths to the travelling public. It received its first Fokker 50 on December 2002 and received its Fokker 100 on January 2006. With the arrival of the Fokker 100, Aero Mongolia introduced its first flights to South Korea. Aero Mongolia also leased another Fokker 100 on June 2006. At the end of 2006 the airline started a direct flight route to Tianjin, China. End of 2006, the company employed 110 staff members.
