Aeronica

Aeronica - Aerolineas Nicaragüenses was an airline based in Managua in Nicaragua. It was established in 1981, however a 49% stake was taken by TACA Int'l in 1992.

Aeronica operated domestic routes and international services to Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Costa Rica, Panama, Cuba, Mexico and the United States. Aeronica became Nicaragua's airline after the demise of LANICA (Lineas Aereas de Nicaragua) right before the Sandinista revolution of 1979.
