Afterglow (INXS song)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Afterglow is the second single from their new album Switch by Australian band INXS.
The song was written by Andrew Farriss and Desmond Child. The lyrics reflect a person's respect for death and need to move on from the sorrow of loss, an obvious reference to the death of former lead singer Michael Hutchence.
The song consists of synth, strings, airy guitar and new lead singer J.D. Fortune (who won INXS's reality television show Rockstar: INXS). The song peaked at #24 in Australia.
