Twilight War: After The Fall is an upcoming science fiction massively multiplayer online role-playing game with a first-person shooter combat system. More accurately it is labeled as an "Extreme Online Roleplaying Game" due to the hybrid nature of combining and enhancing the traditional elements of online role-playing games with the action of first person shooters. It is being developed by General Computers and Smiling Gator Productions. It features 3D graphics based on Valve's Source engine.

In 2003 Smiling Gator Productions, Inc. is established in Florida. A year later on Friday, August 20, 2004 they officially launch a website for their upcoming massive multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) which includes an integrated first person shooter (FPS) combat system and an immersive world. On Tuesday, January 03, 2006 Smiling Gator Productions announces that their funds have run dry and that they are unable to secure any additional investment, thus game development stops. Just over a month later hope is renewed when Computers, Inc. joins SGP in a partnership to develop the game as well as fund it.

Twilight War takes place on a unique world where vast areas of the planet have been reformed following a catastrophe of cataclysmic proportions called The Fall by survivors.
Another race lives alongside the remaining Humans, a dying alien race desperate to find a new home world. The Skel came with advanced technology, genetically manipulated warriors, and the will to conquer. These aliens lurk in the wilderness, adding to the danger.

The world of TW is a mix of wastelands, wilderness, mutant and alien biology. Much of the world was seeded with alien biology during the Doomsday War, making vast stretches almost unrecognizable both in flora and fauna. Over the last two centuries, many of the alien life forms have migrated and mixed with native species, creating a blending of the biospheres. Combined with the devastation caused by nuclear weapons, earthquakes, the rise of ocean levels due to melted ice caps, wild fires, and meteor bombardment, there is little resemblance to pre-Fall Earth.

All the major cities were destroyed in the preceding events, as a result the remaining population lives in small city states or makes its living among the tribes. Certain groups have the use of secret technology from ages gone by while others rely on more primitive resources. Many fight just to stay alive. Nomads, bandits, and mutants survive on whatever remains of civilization they can find.

Twilight War: After The Fall involves player vs environment (PvE) as well as active player vs player (PvP) combat with a first-first person shooter fighting system.
