In 1985, Johnson recorded Tones and released in April of 1986 and went on to vote Johnson No. 2 for Best Overall Artist in 1987.

Cliffs of Dover is one of the best guitar pieces I've ever heard and Steve's Boogie is a charming little ditty. The rest of the album I found somewhat unremarkable but it's worthwhile just for Cliffs of Dover if nothing else. Just my opinion, of course. ---B- 07:45, 30 Jan 2005 (UTC)

- Johnson won the 1992 grammy award for Cliffs of Dover, not the 1991 award. I'm changing that, and if you have a problem, post it here.
