Ahoy, meaning "hello" and/or "what's going on?", can refer to:
- The well-known sailor's interjection.
- Ahoy! (magazine), a magazine that used to be published about Commodore computers
- Ahoy' Rotterdam, an indoor sports arena and concert venue in Rotterdam in the Netherlands
- Ahoy-hoy, suggested by Alexander Graham Bell as a proper telephone answer
- AHOY, standing for Australian Humanist of the Year, awarded annually by the Council of Australian Humanist Societies
- Ahoy, a youth center in Wijnegem in Antwerp in Belgium Jeugdcentrum
Ahoj (pronounced: ahoy) can refer to:
- a Czech and Slovak word meaning "Hi!" (used as an everyday greeting by the Czechs and Slovaks)
- a part of Bratislava, Slovakia
ó thuaidh (pronounced: a-houy): is Gaelic Irish.
- Thuaidh means the North. ó thuaidh = " Northern, towards the North" as for "We are on course ( we are still able to point out North as a reference for our course and location), so not lost - are you ?" when two ships should meet. ( Compare the saying in different languages: "To have lost (the) North = to be lost")
