"Ain't No Sunshine" is a song by Bill Withers from his 1971 album Just As I Am. It is 280th on Rolling Stone's list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. It was used in the hit film Notting Hill.
The song has been covered by many artists including Justin Timberlake & Robyn Troup, Ziggy Marley, Lighthouse Family, Horace Andy, Maroon 5, Ben Harper, Van Morrison, Sting, Lenny Kravitz, Tom Jones, Eva Cassidy, Al Green, Michael Jackson, Will Young and Woven Hand among others.
There are also several songs sharing the same name and many lyrics from the hook but aren't true covers, such as by Akon, Cuban Link and DMX. The last in particular is more "inspired by" than a true cover like the artist rendentions listed in the above paragraph.
