Ain't no more cane

"Ain't No More Cane" is a traditional work song of the American south. It has been recorded by Leadbelly and by The Band on the album The Basement Tapes.
The refrain of the song reads:
Ain't no more cane on the Brazos
It's all been ground down to molasses.
Also included in the film Festival Express- in which Janis Joplin, members of The Band,members of The Grateful Dead, and various other musicians sing drunkenly on the train awaiting the next concert on the tour.
