Air Hawaii
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Air Hawaii was a scheduled passenger airline serving Honolulu from the U.S. West Coast.
[edit] History
Air Hawaii started and ended operations to and from the U.S. West Coast to Honolulu in 1986. The airline was short lived catering to tourist on the highly competitive Los Angles to Honolulu run. Air Hawaii serviced the route via a leased McDonnell Douglas DC-10 tri-jet. Ironically, the same leased DC-10, registered as N905WA, was used previously by another U.S. West Coast to Hawaii carrier, running the same route, and it too was also short lived, The Hawaii Express.
