Is a seinen manga serialized by Shonen Champion Comics(Akita Shoten), from 2002 to the present. Akumetsu's story is written by Yoshiaki Tabata, and drawn by Yûki Yogo.

Akumetsu follows the story of Nagasawa Shiina (Shiina Nagasawa), a 3rd year high schooler who must sell herself into prostitution due to Japan's poor economy, in order to save her family. Before she leaves for the hotel where her job is, she kisses her friend, Hazama Shou (Shou Hazama) goodbye. She kisses him because she "wants her first kiss to be with a guy she likes". While she is at a job at a hotel, a wealthy middle aged man demands for Shiina to lick his foot. The ultimate humiliation. With her eyes swelling in tears, she obeys the command. And as soon as that happens, a masked figure emerges into the room, armed with a handgun and a fire axe , shooting a business executive in the kneecap, proclaiming that his name is "Akumetsu". The entire room is thrown into shock, when the man behind the mask is revealed to Shiina, Akumetsu appears to be none other than Shou Hazama. Akumetsu then proceeds to slowly kill the business man who humiliated Shiina, using a game. In his game, he asks the business man a series of questions concerning Japan's economy and other monetary things, and when the man's answer is unsatisfactory, Shou (as Akumetsu)shoots off one of the business man's toes. At the, Akumetsu proclaims his message. He claims he is trying to rid Japan of all evils. And with that statement, he smashes in the business man's head with an axe.
