Al Bayda' Governorate

The governorate (arab.: muhafazah) of Al Bayda' (also transliterated as Al-Baidhah or Beida) (Arabic: البيضاء) is one of the 19 governorates of Yemen. It is located near the centre of the country, around the town of Al Beyda'.
Its population, given by the 2004 Yemenii census, was 571,778.
