Al Perez (born Alan Perez on July 23, 1960 in Tampa, Florida) started wrestling in 1982. He formed a team in ICW with Joe Savoldi known as the "New York Rockers".
Perez made a name for himself in World Class Championship Wrestling in 1987, where he was the top heel for several months. He was managed by Gary Hart and feuded with Kevin Von Erich, Kerry Von Erich and Dingo Warrior.
In 1988, Perez moved to the NWA's Jim Crockett Promotions with Hart and teamed with Larry Zbyszko along with feuding with Nikita Koloff and Dusty Rhodes.
Perez wrestled in the World Wrestling Federation in 1989 and eventually retired in 1996.
Perez briefly came back to Liberty All-Star Wrestling in 2001 and retired for good in 2002.

- Al has a brother who wrestles named Lou Perez.
- Perez is believed to be the Black Scorpion, who wrestled Sting at the Clash of Champions in September of 1990.
