Albert Einstein High School is a four-year high school located at 11135 Newport Mill Road, near Kensington in unincorporated Montgomery County, Maryland. The principal is James Fernandez. It is within the Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) system.
Einstein is a part of the Down County Consortium. It is also the home high school of Newport Mill Middle School, Sligo Middle School, including all or parts of the districts of Glen Haven Elementary School, Highland Elementary School, Oakland Terrace Elementary School, Rock View Elementary School, and Woodlin Elementary School.

Einstein is home to three Academies. These are courses of study which students can choose as a part of the Downcounty Consortium. Academies include:
- International Baccalaureate Program (IB)
- Academy of Finance (NAF)
- Visual and Performing Arts
Einstein also hosts the MCPS Visual Arts Center.
[edit] International Baccalaureate Program
The International Baccalaureate Program at Albert Einstein High School was initiated in the Fall of 2004. The class of 2006 was the first class from the school to graduate with IB Diplomas. The head ooordinator of this program was Ms. Malissa McCormick but since February of 2007, she has resigned her position and Ms. Connor has taken over as interim director. IB teachers include:
