Albert Frederick 'Jud' Wagner (September 5, 1899 - January 20, 2007) was one of the last surviving American veterans of World War I. Wagner was born on a farm in Kansas. In 1916, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps at age 17. When the United States entered the war in 1917, Wagner was stationed in Kansas City, Missouri. In early 1918, Wagner was sent to the frontlines, and served in France against Germany. Wagner was awarded the Kansas City Star shortly after the war ended. He was stationed in Germany until 1919, when he was discharged. Wagner is claimed to be related to the actor Robert Wagner, because the latter also served in the Marine Corps.
