This article is strong on Haller as a scientist, but relatively weak on Haller as a poet. Perhaps it would be useful to shift the emphasis a little. After all, he was a key 18th century (Swiss-)German poet, not only writing didactic poetry such as "Die Alpen", but also lyric poems such as the ode on the death of his wife Marianne.
Furthermore, the English wording is extremely stilted/unidiomatic in many places and would definitely benefit from revision.
