[edit] History
Alex Westaway grew up in Northamptonshire in England with his two sisters, Hannah and Fleur. Whilst attending Rugby School, Westaway found his love for music. He recorded some solo work, which fellow band member Charlie Simpson believes to be "just like Jeff Buckley". Although seen by fans as "the quiet one" in Fightstar his talents do not go unnoticed by many and he contributes actively to Fightstar's music.
Living now with his sister in London, outside of Fightstar Alex enjoys playing computer games, paintballing and spending time with his girlfriend and school friends. He also is a talented traditional painter, and created multiple freehand sketches for their first EP 'They Liked You Better When You Were Dead'.
