Alexander Dulov

Alexander Andreevich Dulov (Russian: Александр Андреевич Дулов) (born on May 15, 1931 in Moscow) is a Russian poet, songwriter, bard, and chemist.

Alexander Dulov was born in Moscow on May 15, 1931. He graduaded from Moscow State University with a specialization in Chemistry and works in the Russian Academy of Science Institute of Organic Chemistry. Dulov started to write songs in the early 1950s. Today, he has written more then 200 songs. Few of his songs are written based on his own poetry, but the majority uses poetry of other authors such as Sasha Cherny, Vladislav Khodasevich, Konstantin Balmont, Vasily Kurochkin, Nikolay Gumilev, Nikolay Rubtsov, Anna Kipner, Varlam Shalamov, Daniil Andreev, Yevgeny Yevtushenko, Igor Irteniev, Alexander Kushner, and others.
