[edit] March 2007 traffic accident
On March 6, 2007 Boulala was the rider of a motorcycle in a fatal accident that killed Flip Skateboards AM Shane Cross.
As of March 12, the hospital was starting to bring Ali out of the medically induced coma he was placed in to deal with his injuries.
On March 13 the doctors started to wake up Ali from the coma. More recent news has revealed that his neck is not broken and that brain scans have revealed nothing unusual.
As of March 22 tests revealed that Ali was waking up from the coma. The tests show that Ali has an 80% chance of returning to full health without the need of a wheelchair, however his short-term memory may not be restored. It is too early to say whether he will be able to skateboard again.
[edit] Fashion icon
Osiris Shoes produced Ali Brothel creeper skateboarding trainers, designed by Ali. He resurrected the tight jeans/leather jacket look (along with fellow PissDrunx members Jim Greco, Andrew Reynolds, Dustin Dollin, and Erik Ellington).
