Ali Kazmi

Ali Kazmi is one of the representatives of the Pakistani Underground Music, esp Karachi. Kazmi has been associated with a lot of popular underground acts of Karachi, such as, Soul Vomit and Cornhole. Known for his skills as a good drummer, lyricist, composer and a handy guitar player, he soon became a popular figure among the underground music scene.
He started of as a drummer for the band Soul Vomit and later on for the Karachi based punk rock band, Cornhole.
Kazmi also initiated a self proclaimed stoner rock project known as Bad Idea, in which he also wrote, played and gave his voice for most songs. He also contributed his song writing capabilities towards Cornhole’s debut album as well as some tracks for Soul Vomit. He also is working alongside other major underground bands of Karachi at current.
Despite his versatile music listening, Kazmi is one of the accomplished drummers of Pakistani underground scene. At present, he is involved with different bands and is a constant performer at a variety of gigs happening in the Karachi region.
