Alwal Reddy Putta, born as the 8th and last child to Smt Rama Chandramma and Sri Venkat Reddy in village Veltoor, Uppununthala Mandal on the Janmasthami also known as Krishnasthami. Co-incidentally, Lord Krishna was also the eighth child to his parents.
[edit] Schooling
Alwal Putta has studied in Veltoor upto 10th class during 1977-1987. Later he went to Hyderabad, the state capital of Andhra Pradesh, to continue his higher studies. He completed his junior college from New Govt Junior College, Nampally situated in the center of the city and has passed MPC batch with college first during 1987-1989.

Later he joined Science College of Saifabad for his BSc (Geology) in 1989 and when he got a good rank in the EAMCET, joined Malaviya National Institue of Technology (formerly known as Malaviya Regional Engineering College), Jaipur for his Engineering degree in Mechanical where he completed with distinction.

After completing Engineering degree, he was selected by a design and consulting firm in New Delhi for a career in Cement plant design and has worked there for around 5 years before migrating to USA.

Ever since coming to USA, Alwal Putta has been working on some of the most challenging projects at Cisco Systems, Inc. in San Jose, CA as a fulltime employee.
[edit] Marriage
He married Pratima in 2002, who is working as a Scientist at Corium International Inc, Redwood City, CA after completing her masters from Murray State University, KY, USA.

The couples have twins, Ritika Putta and Pranav Putta, daughter and son, aged about a year.
