From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Amber Air is a charter airline based in Kaunas, Lithuania. It operates both business and leisure charter flights. It was established in December of 2004, and started its operations on December 23, 2004. Currently Amber Air is operating scheduled flights from Palanga International Airport, to Hamburg, Germany. After its main rival, Air Lithuania went bankrupt, Amber Air has increased its flights, in and out of the Palanga International Airport, by taking over Air Lithuania's routes to Hamburg, Germany. Its main base of operations is at the Kaunas International Airport (KUN), although the headquarters of the company is in Vilnius, Lithuania's capital. A major hub of Amber Air is now at Palanga International Airport.
