Amber Terrace Intermediate School is a public school in DeSoto, Texas (USA). It is part of the DeSoto Independent School District.
Located at 224 Amber Lane, the school serves students in grades five and six that reside in the southern portion of DeSoto ISD.
All students from Cockrell Hill Elementary and Frank D. Moates Elementary attend Amber Terrace as well as a portion of the students from Woodridge Elementary.

As of the 2005-2006 school year, Amber Terrace had a total of 674 students (72.3% African American, 9.8% White, 17.4% Hispanic, 0.4% Asian, and 0.1% Native American).

In the 2005-2006 school year, DeSoto ISD began a mandatory school uniform policy at all of its schools.

Based on the accountability ratings released by the Texas Education Agency on August 1, 2006, Amber Terrace Intermediate is currently rated "Academically Acceptable".
