Ambry is a rock band from New Hampshire. They released their first full-length album in 2005, entitled Holding on by the Blindfolds We Hide Behind. Their sound has many similarities to the music of bands like Taking Back Sunday and Hawthorne Heights.
Ambry performed on the Utterpunk.com and Warped Tours in Summer 2004.

[edit] Break Up
Following their Summer 2005 touring, guitarist Justin Bloch announced via the band's Myspace page that he would no longer play in Ambry. He cited 'bad luck' and 'differences of opinion' as factors that led him to the decision to leave the band, but that all members remained on good terms. He stated that his last Ambry show would be performed at The Crossing in Sandown, New Hampshire, on September 30th, 2005.
On December 11th, 2005, in a post on their Myspace page, the band confirmed that they did indeed break up following Bloch's departure. According to the post, Aaron, Chris, and Derrick collaborated with others to form the band Haole, and Geof joined Adore Remora.
[edit] Revival
In March of 2007, Ambry's Myspace page was updated with the quote, "is back! With Greg Rabs as Justin Bloch!" and "Rabs - Guitar" was listed under the Band Members heading, replacing Justin Bloch's name.
On March 7th, this information was removed. The quote was replaced with "Didn't you hear?" and Bloch's name was reinstated on the Band Members list. These unexplained changes, coupled with a lack of recent activity from Ambry's splinter bands, has led to speculation that an Ambry revival may be in the works.
