AMC Airlines

AMC Airlines is a charter airline based in Cairo, Egypt. It operates charter flights from Europe to Egypt's tourist destinations, as well as tailored charters, domestic flights, VIP flights and long and short-term wet leases. Its main bases are Cairo International Airport (CAI), Hurghada Airport (HRG) and Ophira International Airport (SSH).

AMC Airlines operates charters flights from Aswan, Hurghada, Luxor and Sharm el Sheikh to various points in Europe and the Middle East (at May 2006).

In 2006 MD80 (SU-BOZ) suffered a landing incident in Sudan, which resulted in the withdrawal from use of the aircraft. No injuries were reported.
