American plastic bricks
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
American Plastic Bricks were toys made in the 1950s-1960s by the Elgo Plastics Company. The plastic bricks are similar to Lego bricks and have raised circular studs on the top and a circular holes in a grid pattern on the bottom. The bricks fit together but do not "lock" or "stick" as Lego bricks do. They were originally made in red and white and came with directions on how to build houses out of the bricks.
