Amertek

Amertek Industries a military industrial firm that recruited the young engineer John Henry Irons otherwise known as Steel to work for them. Irons built a laser weapon for Amertek called the BG-60, a powerful man-portable energy cannon which was sold to urban arms dealers by Amertek. John Henry destroyed all his notes and quit Amertek. When Irons later designed a suit of flying armour, Armertek stole the blueprints and used it to create their own knockoffs.
