500K This image is way too big and slows many pages down. Is it possible to reduce the size?
- I agree. Is this chart really necessary when we could just put the data in a table in an article. This really hurts my eyes to look at, the background is very distracting. I think we should just pick out the data and embed it in an article. --Sbrools (talk . contribs) 19:50, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

- Yes it is, becuase graphic displays of data are better than tabular data. When Newsweek displays statistical data, do they use illustrations or text? They use illustrations. I've heard many people say that my article Household income in the United States is terribly dry and difficult to read-so I have created illustrations. Consider that while this background may hurt your eyes, the same cannot necessarily said about others. Using graphics instead of text and tables is common sense.
