So Phisai (Thai: โซ่พิสัย) is a district (Amphoe) of Nong Khai Province, northeastern Thailand.

The minor district (King Amphoe) So Phisai was established in 1972. It was upgraded to a full district in 1977.

Neighboring districts are (from the west clockwise) Fao Rai, Rattanawapi, Pak Khat, Bueng Kan and Phon Charoen of Nong Khai Province, and Ban Muang of Sakon Nakhon Province.

The district is subdivided into 7 communes (tambon), which are further subdivided into 89 villages (muban). So Phisai is a township (thesaban tambon) which covers parts of tambon So. There are further 7 Tambon administrative organizations (TAO).
