Amplifier Worship is the second album by Boris. It takes the doom elements of their sound further than their other works, especially when speaking of the lyrical imagery: a bizarre relation of frogs to Beelzebub comes to mind. It is often named as a standout amidst Boris's huge discography. Excluding the "one-long-song" albums, this is the only Boris full-length to have vocals on every song, and the first time that Takeshi performed lead vocals for the band (although Atsuo is doing lead vocals on "Huge"). "Vomitself" was written and laid down in a different session from the other four songs. According to Japanese production company FoodUnited, videos were shot for "Hama" & "Kuruimizu". It is unknown if either of these videos will ever surface, whether by means of Internet bootlegging, or on a future DVD.
The t-shirt for this album reads: "Frogs love to eat flies, the devil's name, Beelzebub, lord of the flies. Evil spirits love to spiritually feed upon those whom Beelzebub rules."
