Amyr Klink

Amyr Klink is a Brazilian sailor who has spent one year alone in the Antarctic and crossed the Atlantic Ocean, from the African coast to Brazilian coast, in a specially designed row boat in 1984.
He has written seven books chronicling his voyages.
Amyr was born in São Paulo, to a lebanese father and a swedish mother. He moved to Paraty (RJ) when he was two. He married Marina Bandeira in 1996 and has three daughters.
