Andols Herrick

Andols Herrick (born September 11, 1979) is the drummer in the heavy metal band, Chimaira. He performed on the band's first two albums, Pass out of Existence and The Impossibility of Reason, as well as the band's fourth album, Resurrection. He is 5' 11".
Herrick prefers to play barefoot; this is particularly rare in heavy metal bands, due to the high speed double-bass drum style that is very common in heavy metal bands.
It was announced on 13th January, 2006 that Herrick has rejoined Chimaira. He cited his reasons for rejoining as "Being away from the band and touring for almost two years made me realize how much I missed it. Being involved with the Roadrunner 25th album and concert made me realize that this is where I want to be". Andols was Roadrunner "Captain", Robb Flynn of Machine Head's choice drummer. Robb's more or less staple line-up for the Roadrunner All Stars Session album also consisted of Christian Olde Wolbers of Fear Factory covering bass duties, and Still Remains' Jordan Whelan on rhythm guitar.
Andols uses Taye Drums, Axis Pedals, and Zildjian, Sabian and Wuhan cymbals.
