Andrew Bernstein

Andrew Bernstein (born 29 June 1949) is an Objectivist philosopher and professor of philosophy at Marist College. He has written the CliffsNotes for Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged, The Fountainhead, and Anthem. Dr. Bernstein is the author of Heart of a Pagan, a novel, and of The Capitalist Manifesto: The Historic, Economic, and Philosophic Case for Laissez-Faire. He has lectured at Harvard University, Duke University, Yale University, Stanford University, the United States Military Academy, the University of Southern California, and elsewhere. He is affiliated with the Ayn Rand Institute, and is well known for his public defense of Objectivism. He is currently a professor of philosophy at Marist College.
