Andrew Taylor (born March 14, 1986 in Blackburn) is a professional English footballer who is currently on the books at Blackburn Rovers. He is a defender.
He attended St. Bede's RC High School in Blackburn and is a product of Blackburn Rovers Youth Academy. Having represented England at both under-19 and under-20 level, Taylor signed a new three-year deal with Blackburn Rovers in September 2005.
Although he is yet to feature in a first team game for Rovers, he was awarded the number 26 jersey for the 2005-06 season due to his good progress at the club.
Taylor has had loan spells at Queen's Park Rangers, Blackpool, Crewe Alexandra, and Huddersfield Town (from 31 January 2007 to 5 April 2007).
