It was deleted because another user believed it came off as an advertisement and I happened to agree. These things happen in new pages patrol. If it wasn't an ad, please accept my apologies. By "adspeak," I mean promotional language of the sort that you'd find in an advertisement. Basically, the language here should be neutral, non-technical and aimed more toward laymen rather than experts. Believe me, I've done the same thing. I did an article on the E-flite Blade CP radio controlled model helicopter which someone tagged as being too technical as opposed to the sorts of snappy, creative edits I made when I first got here. The template's still on the talk page of the Blade article as a reminder to myself. OK, the article is good to go. I hung a template on it stating that it's under construction for a week. Followed up with a message on the talk page.
