Angela Buckborough Platt was a bookkeeper for a construction company called J&J which was run by John Ferreira. She embezzeled 6.9 Million dollars from John and used the money to buy herself a variety of objects which included: Talking Trees, like the ones from the Wizard of Oz, a 104 acre ranch, race horses, a fleet of show cars, and a life size Al Capone statue.
She was caught by another bookkeeper that was hired to assist her and is to serve 46 to 57 months in jail on a guilty plea.
