Angie Mentink

Angie Mentink (born October 18, 1972) is the co-anchor of the weekday edition of the Detroit Sports Report.
She is winner of a 2004 Michigan EMMY for Best Sports Anchor. Mentink joined FSN in 1998, reporting on the Seattle Mariners and Seattle Seahawks for FSN Northwest. Prior to entering the broadcast profession, Mentink was a three-time college All-America softball player at the University of Washington and later played professional baseball as an original member of the Colorado Silver Bullets. Mentink had a brief baseball "comeback" in February 2003, participating in a Detroit Tigers tryout camp, an experience that was documented on a feature for DSR.
