For ease of use, please note that:
the "3" symbol represents, approximately "y" "x" is "ch" as in loch
There is no real evidence for the last five runsetaves having been in actual use: they may represent scribal "improvements" to the system.
"pynn" is erroneous, as is "cpeorð" and its associated value "cp" : OE handwriting used a runic form of "w" derived from runes and the letter represented "p" is actually a "w"! The names are properly "wynn" and "cweorð" in modern orthography, and the value of the latter "cw"
- Actually, those say ƿynn and cƿeorð. Which does illustrate the problem with using wynn alongside the rest of the Latin alphabet. Kairos 02:11, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
