From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Anthony Gonzalez (b. September 18, 1984) is a wide receiver for the Ohio State football team. Gonzalez was born in Cleveland, Ohio and graduated from Cleveland Saint Ignatius High School.
Gonzalez is a receiver who teamed with Santonio Holmes and Ted Ginn in 2005 to give the Buckeyes three big-play receivers on what was one of the most explosive offenses in the country. His acrobatic 26-yard catch at Michigan in the 2005 regular season finale set up the game-winning score with 37 seconds to play. His role in 2006 increased with the departure of Holmes to the NFL via the 2006 NFL Draft.
Gonzalez has announced that he will enter the 2007 NFL Draft.
